  • ConnectingtoCareCT.org  is a partnership led by the State of Connecticut to improve children’s behavioral health by building an accessible and coordinated system of care for children and their families. There, you will find information that will help you better understand, navigate, and locate children’s behavioral health services near you.   • Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center (CPAC) is a resource for Children with disabilities. CPAC provides training, support and empowerment for parents and professionals around educational systems. It provides training programs at no cost to families and educators across the state and also has a wide range of accessible online training and information on their website and through social media.

  • FAVOR, Inc. supports, educates, and advocates for families with children who have special mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges and/or developmental and intellectual disabilities. Visit Favor-CT.org for more information about support and advocacy.

  • NAMI Connecticut (NAMI CT) plays an active role providing support, education, and advocacy at the community level. They offer support groups to let people know they are not alone and to be there with information and support when needed.

  • Connecticut is committed to having a behavioral health system that provides families the care they need, when they need it. The Plan4Children website lays out the state’s vision, plan, and current work for creating a behavioral health system that meets the needs of all children in Connecticut.

  • Prevent Suicide CT is a website of the Connecticut Suicide Advisory Board.  It offers information and resources for Suicide prevention, health, and wellness principles and interventions.

  • TurningPointCT.org was developed by young people in Connecticut who are in recovery from mental health and substance use issues. The website offers support and connection for young people from young people.
  • The United Way website at 211ct.org offers a one-stop connection to local services, including utility assistance, food, housing, child care, after school programs, elder care, crisis intervention and much more.

  • WeAreCT is a joint initiative between the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) to more easily connect all residents to the state’s extensive network of resources for prevention, mental health and substance use recovery.
